The light is gone.

The feeling returns.

The light… takes control.

The dark splits open.

Just a hairline crack at first,

deep inside me.

The light seeps through — cold, sharp,

merciless.

It burns the remaining fucking shadows,

tears the silence from my skin.

I feel fucking broken,

every piece of me brutally torn apart.

Air fills me.

The heart beats again.
